10 Aug MTN considers USD 600 mln bid for Internet Solutions – report
MTN and Vodacom are among the interested buyers in Dimension Data’s African operations, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg. Didata’s management is also considering buying back the African business and relisting its shares, the report said.
The activities include South Africa-based Internet Solutions, a major provider of internet services. MTN is weighing an offer of as much as USD 600 million for Internet Solutions, the report said. The structure of a deal hasn’t yet been decided as many options are still being discussed, including a potential partnership agreement.
The companies all declined to comment.
