Tunisie Telecom and the British telecoms group Vodafone signed a partnership agreement on July 10, 2018 in Tunis. The three-year collaboration was endorsed by the signatures of Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem, CEO of Tunisie Telecom Group and Diego Massidda, CEO of Vodafone Partner Markets.
Through the partnership agreement, the Tunisian incumbent operator obtains from Vodafone, strategic and operational support in the fields of technology, procurement and services provided to businesses and individuals like roaming. The British company, on the other hand, will benefit from the expertise and experience of Tunisie Telecom in the North Africa and Maghreb region.
According to Mohamed Fadhel Kraiem, this partnership “will provide Tunisia Telecom with more efficient solutions for the benefit of multinationals based in Tunisia and all Tunisian companies. Tunisie Telecom will be able to offer more competitive roaming services for our compatriots while traveling in countries where Vodafone and its partners are present and Vodafone customers visiting Tunisia. “
“Under this agreement, Tunisia Telecom will also have the opportunity to access global knowledge base of Vodafone, and achieve economies of scale which will be recognized in our purchases of telecommunications equipment.”
