March 6, 2019by myles

South African ISP BitCo has launched uncapped fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) services on the Openserve network. The company first launched the FTTH offering BitCo Home in October 2018 on the Vumatel Network, and BitCo said demand over the past several months justified the move to partner with Openserve, which is said to be the largest FTTH infrastructure provider in South Africa.

Residential internet users on the Openserve network can choose from competitively priced uncapped, unshaped and full-speed (not throttled) home fibre with download and upload speeds of 10/5 Mbps, 20/10 Mbps, 40/20 Mbps, 100/50 Mbps or 200/100 Mbps. BitCo Home services are offered on a month-to-month, 12- or 24-month contract options with 24/7 support and a free-to-use router. Free installation and activation packages are available.
