Wananchi Cable Ltd is a subsidiary of the Kenyan company Wananchi Group Holdings. In Tanzania, where the company entered in 2017, the market is quite competitive. It is disputed by a plurality of operators who offer their service as well by fixed technology, as by mobile, satellite and wifi.
The acquisition of new shares of Wananchi Cable Ltd is currently subject to the approval of the Commission of the healthy competition, in accordance with the provisions of the law n ° 8 of 2003 on the healthy competition and the rules on the competition of 2018.
