Airtel Nigeria, the local unit of Indian telecoms group Bharti Airtel, has announced the launch of its ‘home broadband’ service which utilises its 4G LTE network. Local newspaper The Punch reports that coverage is currently available in over 130 towns and cities across all of the country’s 36 states. To access the service, customers can purchase a home router, priced at NGN25,000 (USD68.6), or MiFi device for NGN15,000, as well as a data bundle.
