Airtel Tanzania, the country’s third largest mobile operator by subscribers, has expanded its recently-launched LTE network to Morogoro Region, reports IPP Media. Switched on last month, Airtel’s 4G service is already available in Dodoma, Dar es Salaam and Coast Region. Airtel is the country’s latest mobile operator to enter the LTE sector, following launches by rivals Vodacom Tanzania, Millicom Tanzania (Tigo), Smile Communications and Tanzania Telecommunication Corporation (TTCL), notes TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database.
