The Zimbabwean telecoms group Econet Global Limited, through its subsidiaries Liquid Telecom Group (LTG) and Cassava Fintech International (CFI), announced on October 13, 2020 the launch of a pan-African wireless Internet network called #SasaiWiFiFinder. The network shared by Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Rwanda and Zimbabwe will provide residents with “ the most affordable ” Internet access .

After the launch of the network in Zimbabwe, the two partners announce its upcoming expansion to South Africa, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Botswana, Burundi, Lesotho and Tanzania.
