Orange Côte d’Ivoire announces the appointment of Ms. Nafy Silué, as Deputy Managing Director, as of October 7, 2020. She will also act as Zone Director of the Orange Côte d’Ivoire cluster. Ivoire composed of the three subsidiaries Orange Côte d’Ivoire, Orange Burkina Faso and Orange Liberia.

The appointment of Ms. Nafy Silué crowns a flawless and exceptional career by this fierce technocrat within Orange Côte d’Ivoire. Indeed, for more than fifteen years during the managerial functions that she has occupied, she has piloted multiple structuring and innovation projects and led several successes of the multi-service, digital and committed operator.

Holder of a master’s degree in Econometrics from the Lumière-Lyon II University (France) and after starting a career in consulting firms, Ms. Nafy Silué joined Orange Côte d’Ivoire in 2005, as Head of Marketing. She was quickly promoted to Head of Marketing Department in 2006 before being appointed Marketing and Communication Director in 2008. From 2010 to 2018, Ms. Nafy Silué will hold the position of Marketing Director, during which time she will support the launch of major services.

In June 2018, Ms. Nafy Silué took over as head of the brand new International department responsible for supporting the subsidiaries in Liberia and Burkina Faso. Less than a year later, she was also entrusted with the management of the “Metamorphosis” project, the ambitious transformation program of Orange Côte d’Ivoire.

In 2020, Ms. Nafy Silué continues her ascent within the company. The 1 st of February, she became Director of the International and Strategy to strengthen the strategic alignment of Orange subsidiaries in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Liberia, which met in the Orange cluster Ivory Coast.

The first woman to occupy this position within Orange Côte d’Ivoire, the wise leadership of Mrs. Nafy Silué, her proven expertise and her excellent knowledge of the telecommunications market, in Côte d’Ivoire and in the region, are as many assets that will enable it to continue, alongside Mr. Mamadou Bamba, Managing Director, the development of Orange Côte d’Ivoire’s strategic plan. It will be a question of reconciling economic performance and a sustainable approach, vis-à-vis customers, employees, stakeholders, partners and society as a whole.
