Wireless ISP Tizeti has announced the expansion of its LTE services to Oyo State. The firm is initially deploying its low-cost solar-powered 4G network in Ibadan, with customers able to access services starting at NGN2,222 (USD5.4) per month from 1 April. In a press release, the firm said the launch will ‘provide significant opportunities for cities in Oyo State, that have not had sufficient broadband infrastructure and will improve the state’s competitiveness with high speed, and affordable broadband internet from Tizeti’. The company currently also operates LTE and Wi-Fi networks in Lagos, Ogun State, Rivers State and Edo State.
