Angolan mobile market leader Unitel reports on its website that its 4G LTE network now covers all 18 of the country’s provincial capitals, compared to 17 previously, while its combined 4G and 3G coverage now reaches ‘516 locations, communes and municipalities’. LTE voice and data services have recently been extended to another nine locations in seven provinces, namely: Sumbe (Cuanza Sul province), Cabala (Luanda), Cacuso (Malanje), Caluquembe (Huila), Camacupa and Andulo (Bie), Tomboco and Quinzau (Zaire province) and Fucauma (Lunda Norte), while the latest 3G expansion covered Lombe in Malanje province.
