Senegalese regional mobile network operator (MNO) Hayo Telecom has chosen Telesmart.io to supply a fully API-enabled number and messaging platform. The platform automates the supply chain for the operator, including sign-up, interconnect, online provisioning, functionality, visibility and reporting, enabling Hayo to serve its customers with increased efficiency and capabilities. As a Telesmart.io partner, Hayo Telecom receives Dynamic Partner Status, enabling it to access number inventory in real-time, rather than holding excess number inventory which is more costly.

Hayo Telecom claims to have a permanent presence on four continents and to maintain a customer base in over 25 countries, with international PoPs in South Africa and North America providing voice, SMS, data and other services. According to the most recent figures published by the Authority of Regulation of Telecommunications and Post (L’Autorite de Regulation des Telecommunications et des Postes, ARTP), the operator served 341 mobile subscriptions in Senegal’s Matam region at the end of 2021.
