Angola Cables has a very extensive network, with more than 20 points of presence (PoP) around the world. CSquared Ghana wants to take advantage of this network to expand its reach to other African markets as demand for high-speed connectivity accelerates on the continent.
CSquared Ghana, a company specializing in the construction and operation of fiber optic networks in Africa, announced that it has signed a commercial partnership with Angola Cables. As a reseller partner of the Angolan fiber optic internet connectivity provider, CSquared Ghana will provide wholesale and IT solutions to its customers in Ghana and other parts of the African continent including Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC ), Uganda, Kenya and Liberia.
Estelle Akofio-Sowah (pictured), CSquared Regional Director for West Africa, explains that this new partnership allows the company to have access to Angola Cables’ robust and secure international network, with high capacity and low latency, in order to market tailor-made products and customized network solutions across the African continent. These include IP transit, remote peering, global data center interconnection, cloud and gaming solutions.
The partnership is part of CSquared’s ambition to extend its footprint to all of Africa in a context marked by the strong demand for broadband connectivity on the continent. For Angola Cables, this collaboration is part of a coherent strategy to ensure greater proximity to markets and to give service providers and sellers the opportunity to market a range of products and services.
“ As our newest partner, CSquared will now have access to high-quality Internet and Cloud connectivity solutions and will be able to promote them in locations within Angola Cables’ network reach .
