Madagascan ISP Blueline (formerly Gulfsat Madagascar) has announced the official launch of ‘Konnect by Blueline’, a satellite broadband solution that provides fast, reliable and affordable internet connectivity throughout the entire country. Powered by technology from satellite operator Eutelsat, Blueline highlighted the new offering ensures a reliable connection with an uptime rate of 99.5% and a maximum download speed of 50Mbps.
‘With total coverage of Madagascar, Konnect by Blueline permanently eliminates areas without connection, thereby ensuring that every village, every island, every site on the island is connected to the rest of the world, with the same high speed and performance. This achievement marks a crucial milestone in our commitment to providing fast and reliable internet connectivity to all Malagasy people wherever they are,’ the company said in a statement.
With a 155GB data allowance available from MGA75,000 (USD16), Blueline claims the new packages are very competitively priced and flexible enough to satisfy customer requirements (available with or without a contractual term and data usage cap).
