
Egypt: Atos opens a new Global Delivery Center in Cairo

The Egyptian Prime Minister and the Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology have signed an agreement between Atos and the Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency ( ITIDA ) to to expand Atos activities in Egypt . The new GDC will provide state-of-the-art digital services to customers around the world.
Atos announces today the opening of its new Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Cairo, Egypt, marked by an official signing ceremony in the presence of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mr. Moustafa Kemal Madbouli, and the Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Amr Talaat.
With its new GDC, Atos consolidates its presence in the Middle East and Africa as well as its commitment to its regional and global customers. This new center will strengthen its capacity to provide international services, in addition to allowing it to explore the commercial prospects of the entire region.
Egypt produces some 100,000 computer science graduates every year. More than 80% of its young working population is fluent in languages such as Arabic, English, French and German. Egypt also ranked as the fourth most pandemic resilient country, cementing its position as one of the best service delivery locations in the world.
