Orabank Togo and Togocom announced Thursday, May 23, the launch of PASS TMONEY, the new mobile banking service which allows users to transfer money between their TMoney and Orabank accounts without requiring an internet connection, indicates Togo First . This service aims to simplify financial transactions for customers of both institutions, in a secure manner.
Apart from the transaction, the PASS TMONEY service allows users to consult their balances and account statements in real time, directly from their mobile phone.
It is an initiative that will be more beneficial for populations in rural areas, generally excluded from traditional banking services. It thus marks a significant step forward towards financial inclusion in Togo, according to Guy Awona, the General Director of Orabank Togo.
For Pierre Antoine Legagneur, Managing Director of Togocom, the partnership with Orabank Togo which resulted in the launch of PASS TMONEY is essential to extend access to financial services to a greater number of people.
