Orange extends its fibre optic network in Ivory Coast: Divo and Soubré now connected

Orange Côte d’Ivoire is pursuing its ambition to cover the entire Ivorian territory with its fiber optic network. After the official opening of the towns of San-Pedro, Assinie, Bassam, Bouaké, Daloa, Yamoussoukro, Korhogo, Bonoua and Aboisso, fiber is now being installed in the towns of Divo and Soubré.

“ We are determined to offer all our customers, wherever they are in Ivory Coast, a quality internet experience, to meet their communication and entertainment needs ,” said Hamadou Ouattara, Deputy Director Fixed Broadband .

Thanks to this extension, residents of Divo and Soubré will now be able to benefit from a fast and stable internet connection, ideal for professional and personal use. This will enable local businesses to improve their productivity and competitiveness, while individuals will be able to access a wide range of online services, such as television, social networks and streaming platforms.

For Orange CI, this notable deployment of the fiber network is an essential step in its digital growth strategy in Ivory Coast. “We are convinced that access to very high-speed internet is a key factor in economic and social development.
