Airtel Africa signs multi-year strategic partnership with Xtelify, the digital arm of Airtel India

Xtelify, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), which brings together all of Airtel’s digital assets and expertise, today launched an AI-powered software platform, built for the future, that will help telecom operators worldwide break free from structural complexity, become customer-centric, improve user experience, reduce churn, and increase Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).

Xtelify has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar partnership with Airtel Africa. As part of this partnership, Xtelify will provide its software platforms, including Data Engine, Work, and IQ. The deployment of Xtelify Data Engine and Xtelify Work will arm Airtel Africa’s 150,000 field agents across 14 countries with market insights for micro-targeting strategies and deploy priority use cases such as anti-spam and anti-fraud to protect customers across the continent. The Xtelify IQ platform will enable omnichannel, real-time, and highly secure customer interactions, improving both service quality and the customer experience.

Jacques Barkhuizen, Group Chief Information Officer at Airtel Africa, said  : “This partnership marks a major step forward in our ambition to build Africa’s digital future. By leveraging Airtel’s AI platforms, already proven in India, we are simplifying our operations while accelerating the personalization of experiences for our customers. Airtel Africa is leveraging the solutions developed by Airtel India – a powerful synergy that will drive sustainable growth, innovation, and unparalleled value across our 14 African markets.”

Binod Srivastava, Chief Commercial Officer – Global Business, Bharti Airtel, added: “We are delighted to partner with Airtel Africa.
