Tanzania ICT Minister Visits TTCL Faiba Centre as Fibre Connectivity Expands


During the visit to the FTTH/FTTX Experience Centre, Kairuki was briefed on the communication services and digital solutions delivered through TTCL’s fibre-based connectivity technologies.

Tanzania’s Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Hon. Angellah Kairuki, has visited the Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation’s (TTCL) Faiba Integrated Centre in Kijitonyama, Dar es Salaam, as the country continues to expand access to high-speed digital connectivity.

During the visit to the FTTH/FTTX Experience Centre, Kairuki was briefed on the communication services and digital solutions delivered through TTCL’s fibre-based connectivity technologies.

The minister also experienced the services available through TTCL’s Faiba platform, which uses fibre-to-the-home and fibre-to-the-X technologies to provide high-speed internet connectivity.

TTCL highlighted its continued investment in digital infrastructure and services aimed at enabling individuals, institutions and businesses to access reliable and future-ready internet connectivity.

The visit comes as demand for faster and more dependable connectivity grows across Tanzania, with fibre infrastructure playing an increasing role in supporting digital services, businesses and households.
